Experience the excitement of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Bormio

From 6 to 22 February 2026, Bormio will be the protagonist of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, hosting the men's alpine skiing competitions and, for the first time in Olympic history, ski mountaineering.

The legendary Stelvio slope will host the downhill, super-G, giant slalom, special slalom and men's combined races, while the spectacular surrounding mountains will provide the backdrop for the Olympic debut of ski mountaineering, with men's and women's sprint events and the mixed relay.

Baita La Cascata, located just a few minutes from the Stelvio slope and the selected locations of Bormio and Livigno, is the ideal choice for staying during this historic event.

The ski season remains open

From 5 December 2025 to 12 April 2026, the Bormio ski area will be open. The Santa Caterina Valfurva and Cima Piazzi – San Colombano ski areas will be fully accessible throughout the season, without restrictions.
